This is a high-end vacuum pump made in China. It is less noisy than the standard vacuum pump. It is generally used in laboratories for scientific research. If you use it to freeze-dry some food, we do not recommend this vacuum pump because it is expensive and the performance of the vacuum pump is not much different from the standard vacuum pump. This vacuum pump has an anti-return oil function. If the machine encounters a sudden power outage during operation, the negative pressure in the drying chamber may suck the lubricating oil in the vacuum pump back into the drying chamber, causing food contamination.
This vacuum pump can avoid this situation. If the power supply in the area where you use the machine is unstable, you can consider using this vacuum pump. Lubricating oil needs to be added to the vacuum pump when it is running. The lubricating oil only serves as a lubricant and will not be consumed.
The vacuum pump needs to replace the lubricating oil every 600-800 hours of operation. If it does not run for 600~800 hours in 3 months, the lubricating oil also needs to be replaced. Just like the engine of a car, it needs regular maintenance. When the vacuum pump is just started, it will produce oil smoke.
As the vacuum value decreases, the oil smoke will become smaller and smaller. This process will last for about 5 minutes and finally disappear. If you mind the oil smoke problem, we can equip the vacuum pump with an oil mist filter.
